About me#
a software developer with a passion for privacy and digital self-determination – and a somewhat unusual career path.
Before I got into software development, I worked as an event technician in Dubai for four years. From large-scale events with LED walls and projectors to technically demanding live productions – everything had to work right away, no room for “works on my machine”. That time taught me one thing above all: precision, problem-solving under pressure, and how to work in international teams.
Back in Germany, I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering and realized: Sure, the deadline is now less “show starts in 10 minutes”, but the standard for clean, reliable systems has remained the same.
This carries through to my job. DevOps, security best practices, privacy-friendly solutions – wherever possible, I try not just to make things work, but to do them right. Because it matters. And because it’s simply more fun.
